Tyler Website

Project Overview:

At the start of 2025, I had the privilege of playing a key role in redesigning the Tyler School of Art and Architecture’s website. Temple partnered with OHO to design and code the site’s components, and my responsibility was to bring those components to life, building out each page using the new design system.

I worked closely with copywriters to plan content placement, select the most effective components for each section, and flag areas where copy adjustments were needed for clarity, consistency, and alignment with the design. I curated photography for the site, identified areas in need of new visuals, led user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and usability, and coordinated directly with the OHO team throughout the process.

My contract with Temple concluded when I accepted a full-time offer with Moberg Analytics, at which point Anthony DeLuca stepped in to carry the project through to its launch.

Conclusion

This project was a turning point in my design career. I went in thinking my role would be straightforward since the design system was done, content would written, and coding wasn’t my job. I quickly realized the real challenge wasn’t just building pages; it was understanding Temple’s complex hierarchy, planning user flows, and making decisions that balanced functionality, clarity, and scale for a major university audience.

More importantly, it shifted my mindset. Until then, I saw myself as a recent grad chasing experience through short contracts and freelance gigs. This project validated my skills and taught me to carry myself as a professional, not a student. It pushed me past imposter syndrome and marked the moment I stopped questioning whether I belonged in this field and started focusing on how far I could go.
